Choosing the Right Four Person Tent

Choosing the right four person tent can be confusing. Before shopping for the tent, there are a number of things to consider. Are you hiking to your campsite, or driving to the location? What is the weather going to be like? What size tent do you need(remember, a four person tent is made for a maximum of four people, so if you have four large people camping, this might not be big enough for you)?

If you are going to be hiking over rough terrain with your tent, you will obviously need a lightweight tent, but also a durable one depending on conditions. There are numerous backpack tents for you to choose from.

The weather is also a big factor when deciding which four person tent to buy. If you are camping in the winter, you will need a four season tent, which has thicker fabric and is more durable. A three season tent will do for any other season.

Size is another thing to consider. Remember, a four person tent is made for a maximum of four people, so if you have four large people camping, this might not be big enough for you. Also, if you are planning on storing a bunch of supplies in your tent, you should take this into consideration as well when shopping for your four person tent.

With so many choices out there, hopefully these tips will help you decide on the best four person tent. Happy camping!
